SCS SCHOOL SPIRIT

Our desire is to create, nurture, and replicate SCS school spirit from one class and year to another. With this in mind, SCS has adopted a multi-faceted year-long program called, Battle of the Bears.

Framework

Each class, 6th -12th grade has been designated as a “team” in order to participate in various academic, athletic, social, and spiritual “competitions.”

Individual students, small groups, and an entire class may earn daily, weekly, quarterly, and yearly points which accumulates at the end of the year.

​

Administration tallies all points with help from faculty. The class with the most points at the end of the academic year is crowned the winner of our annual “Battle of the Bears.”

Our second annual winner in 2023-24 was Mrs. Barber's 6th grade class, the Red Raptors.
